Absolutely delicious! I do wish I was told the pulled chicken and pulled pork didn't come with sauce though. I would have added some. I ended up just using sauce from my house. But everything was really good.
The prices were fair and their sweet bbq sauce was INCREDIBLE (molasses and whatnot), but... our food was cold. Not the outside, but the inside. Pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese and beans- cold.
$40 for 2 (with leftovers)
My boys and I went here for lunch after a local soccer tournament. We got the pulled pork sandwiches and a chicken tender kids meal. Everything was good but none of us were fans of their sauce (we had one sweet and one tangy. The pork wasn't dry, I wish there was more butter on the toasted buns, It would have added a buttery crunch to the bite.
Overall pretty good! My boys loved the french fries and I did as well.
This place truly deserves more than 5 stars. From the food to the service everything was unmatched for barbecue in the New England area. I hope to become a frequent flyer despite the long ride for me from as it is so worth it. I will be telling all my friends and family about this place and highly recommend Smokehaus in Amherst to get your BBQ fix.
This self-service barbecue joint offers a delightful experience with its standout dishes, particularly the mouthwatering brisket and tender baby back ribs. The ribs' delectable rub adds an extra layer of flavor. The friendly and welcoming staff enhance the overall atmosphere. However, the pulled pork could have been moister. On the bright side, the multiple sauce selections, including the delicious barbecue sauce, provide a range of options to satisfy various palates. Also have good beers.
Both times I’ve gone here I’ve left frustrated. Menu is poorly written, staff rushes you to order even through there’s no line, prices are 30% higher than Smokeshow in Concord, the baked beans taste burnt, the cornbread is quite meh. I’m going to save my bbq appetite for Smokeshow which has a better atmosphere too.
One day I was working in the area. Stop by for lunch. That was a year ago. Now every time I have some free time I drive over 2 hours for some amazing barbecue. Food is out of this world nice and cozy place and the staff is always happy and friendly. Just a amazing place. Can't wait for a Rd trip again. Thank you guys
First timer. this place is phenomenal, the meat is moist flavorful it has the perfect amount of smoke flavor. the sauce options are really well laid out and labeled, my personal favorite was the tangy sauce I had the three meat plate with pulled chicken, brisket and pulled pork the portions were larger than expected. i chose the beans and hush puppies for my sides both were very good. there is a large amount of pulled pork in the beans that added a nice flavor to them. when leaving I had to buy a half rack of ribs as that was the only thing I did not have. This is definitely a need to stop bbq joint. 10/10
